The masks are made from paper tape, which is then pulped to strengthen it and then its features are sculpted.
The Egyptian is a paper tape cast of my own face. The Buddha is molded on one of my very patient daughters and Cyborg is a cast of a long suffering family friend who was willing to have his head taped.. (Bless him..)
The cyborg was covered with kitchen foil and the parts from an old pair of headphones were added for effect. All are basically made the same way, they are then decorated.
